Improvements in Combined Gages W620-1P & W620-2P:
Extended reference edge for measuring flange thickness to afford better measuring accuracy.
Replace the fish scale with a more useful standard scale. One centered on the front and one measuring from the edge on the back. The one from the edge on the back can be used by a carman for 2" safety devises and 4" hand holds.
Provide 3/4 and 1 inch holes for shells & spalls.
Provide
11/16 Rim Thickness for FRA.
Improvements in Wheel Defect Gages W627-1 & W627-2:
Make center divider long enough to assure that the gage sits perpendicular to wheel.
Provide standard scale on front for measuring slid flats.
