RECOMMENDED MANUAL CHANGES TO CURRENT AAR MANUALS
The last seven years have seen changes in wheel gaging requirements and significant improvements in the wheel gages. Many of the drawings and presentations in the current manuals do not reflect current practice. These improved wheel gages specifically address current requirements, providing ease of use and accurate results. They have been developed through lots of listening and thoughtful development.
Care has been taken in their documentation to assure simple and effective verification of the gages themselves, thus facilitating continued reliable use.
